Requirements

You need to comply with our Rules & Regulations at all times. An additional ‘Code of Conduct’ is available in our Hangar (download section) and is a mandatory code for all pilots.
You need to have a good founded knowledge of aviation. We will train you to achieve better knowledge within our training program.
You may apply without a membership, however an additional checkflight needs to be performed in order to get the rank.

At KLM Transavia Virtual, we like to offer a changeling environment for both beginner pilots and pherhaps you, a more trained pilot. We can understand that starting at the bottom is not ment for everybody. Especially for those of you, who have years and years of experience already. For those with this kind of experience we offer a direct entry option to become a Jr. First Officer right from the get-go. We do require you to perform a checkflight to proof your skills. What steps do you have to take?

Join our virtual airline by applying for the job here directly.
When accepted to the virtual airline you will be a ‘Cadet’ at first.
In order to advance to Jr. First Officer directly, go to our ‘Events’ page within Vamsys and look for the ‘Direct Entry to Jr. First Officer’-chechflight. It is not needed to make an appointment. Flights are monitored remotely based on your pirep. All checkflight-pireps are automatically sent for review.
After performing the checkflight (a return flight) a member of staff will review the pireps. When approved you will automatically receive the points needed to advance to Jr. First Officer. A nice badge is also added to your profile. We offer a checkflight version for both KLM and Transavia.
You are now a Jr. First Officer. You can further advance in rank by gaining hours and (bonus)points.
