KLM Transavia Virtual passes the 5,000-flight mark. This is a moment worth pausing for: KLM Transavia Virtual has officially logged more than 5,000 flights. Every one of them started with a pilot taking the time to plan a route, set up the cockpit and fly an aircraft safely from A to B. Together, you have achieved something we as a team are incredibly proud of. What makes this milestone so special is that it wasn’t reached overnight. It was built from short hops to London and Paris, long night flights to the other side of the world, challenging approaches during our tours and countless evenings online on VATSIM. From the pilot who just filed their very first flight to the seasoned captain with hundreds of hours in the logbook (even a few with over 1.000 hours!), everyone has played a part. That is why, first and foremost, we want to thank all of our pilots. Your dedication, enthusiasm and love for aviation are the heart of this virtual airline. Without you, not a single aircraft would leave the gate. A big thank you also goes to everyone working behind the scenes, from maintaining our schedule of more than 2,500 routes and over 300 destinations to organising events and reviewing check flights. It is a lot of work that often goes unseen, but it makes all the difference.

We would also like to thank our partners VATSIM, Flight Sim Weekend and MM Simulations for the great cooperation and their trust. Thanks to them, we can offer our pilots the most realistic and complete experience possible. Of course, 5,000 flights is not our final destination, just a stopover.
